The appearance of new regulations regarding the drastic reduction of solvents in the new paints means that the existence of impurities in the air system is more and more critical to the final result and satisfactory finish due to:
>. With HS: the high gloss of these paints, their low solvent content and reduction in the number of finishing coats means that the small particles that can enter through the compressed air stand out.
> With waterborne paints: their absolute incompatibility with any kind of grease or organic fumes means that the air required for spraying must be of the highest quality.
